Yes, that's a quote from a book! I recently "acquired" (heh heh) the original sketches to the cover art of Animorphs #17, The Underground. For those who recall the series, it was a Rachel book, which had her turning into a bat on the cover. It was the infamous "oatmeal book." I thought people might be interested in seeing what the artist, David Mattingly, sent me. He's had these in a file drawer all these years; he and his wife are downsizing, and he's offering the concept art to fans on his eBay account. Definitely one of the coolest things I own! I've redacted any phone/fax numbers on the off chance they're still relevant after all these years! Do you have any cool book-related swag?
