We're officially open!

Little Free Library Charter #189684 is now officially open! I can't wait to see you stop by.

Today, July 19th, 2024, marks the tenth anniversary of the death of my best friend Kathleen Kafka and her father, Fred. It was one of the worst days of my life. I've been working overdrive the last few days to get the little free library up and running in time for today. Now today's date has something positive associated with it, something that they would be proud of.

I outwardly dedicated it to my father, because he had SO MANY BOOKS, you guys. Like, SO MANY. He loved them. If you look closely, Dune is in there; it was his favorite.

I hope you enjoy the new library and I hope it carries the spirit of everyone I love forward in the neighborhood.
